"This is the text I sent" is an Image Macro of a young woman holding a sign of the last text she sent to her sister before she died. The meme originated from an AT&T documentary about texting-while-driving, released December 20, 2010. In the video, a group of people share their experiences with texting and driving, and how it affected their lives. At one point of the video, we see a woman named Mandi describing the events that led up to her sister Ashley's death. The text she sent her was "Yeah". In summer 2012, the meme started to gain popularity. There were a number of pictures being posted to sites like Memecenter, Facebook, etc.
