Michonne is a fictional character from the comic book series The Strolling Dead and is represented by Danai Gurira in the tv series of the exact same name. Producer Frank Darabont specified in a meeting with Fearnet in 2011 that Michonne would formally appear in the third season of the program. After Darabont was fired, there was speculation that those plans could have altered. However, in a meeting with The Watercooler in late January 2012, Gale Anne Hurd verified that Michonne would appear in future seasons. She had a predominant role in period 3 and is preparing to be a major force in season 4.
