Have you ever had a friend try to tell you a story, but take a long time to get to the point? If you haven't, they made a subreddit specifically for situations like this, but they're a whole lot shorter, and maybe a lot weirder, too. The sub /r/suspiciouslyspecific highlights all the different ways people provide way too much detail than what was probably required to tell a story. Sometimes it's a warning sign for an oddly specific situation, making you question what really went down for there. Other times it's just someone going into heavy detail about a brand-new idea they just had.

Regardless, they all end up being pretty hilarious. There's usually something very funny about someone providing more information than was required, maybe just because it's so unexpected. Or we just laugh at their inability to keep things concise and straightforward. With that being said, here are 10 of the best images of people providing too much information.
