14 Failed Designs That Someone Somehow Got Away With
Not all of us are experts at designing things, but it's awful hard to screw up as badly as the people who created the following awful failures did. From making artwork to children's toys to architecture, there's apparently a lot of different fields where things can go horribly wrong. But it's not just mistakes that are to blame, but rather human stupidity. Many of the best examples of fails made by professionals can be found on the subreddit /r/CrappyDesign.
Crappy designs are very real and surprisingly very common. We're not sure what these people were thinking, but maybe next time they should have someone check over their work before they widely distribute these things in stores or hand the blueprints off to construction. Honestly, they're pretty embarrassing, but we're willing to bet these people got away with their mistakes, because these things still exist in the wild.
