The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are both available for purchase — up to a point, of course, since demand is really high. The new consoles will be an adjustment for many gamers, but the hardware and games are standardized, and many prefer that standardization to PC gaming.
PC and console gamers have long had a complicated relationship, so much so that it's hard to keep track of how ironic the phrase ''Glorious PC Gaming Master Race'' is these days. The opposite end of standardization is how variable and adaptable PCs can be. A wider range, of course, means more on the worse ends. Whatever features or specifications that might worry gamers in the Series X or the PS5, they won't be as bad as these PC setups.
