The Royal Couple Is Threatening To Sue The Paparazzi For This Photo Of Meghan Markle
How are we all doing in the first couple of weeks of Megxit? Well, if you're Meghan Markle, you're seemingly doing pretty well. In a viral photo now spreading across Twitter, the Duchess of Sussex was seen hiking in Vancouver, Canada with her two dogs and holding her child Archie in front of what appears to be bodyguards. What everyone seems to agree on is that the photo is rather striking since the Duchess is seen smiling and happy despite "stepping back" from her royal duties along with her husband, Prince Harry, who only left the United Kingdom last night to return to his wife and child in Canada.
While many Twitter users applauded the former Suits actress for regaining her independence and taking charge of her life after a rough go with the British media, others couldn't help but notice her choice to smile directly at the camera, leading many to think the Duchess might have staged the moment.
First came the supportive tweets of Markle looking happy for the first time in months.

To some, she was finally living her best life.

And she no longer cared about the haters.
The paparazzi snapped photos of a smiling Meghan in Vancouver with her dogs. I didn't see the pics & certainly won't promote them, but I laughed really hard when I thought of how happy she is now, & how miserable and mad her haters still are.Keep smiling, Meg. ❤#MeghanMarkle

One thing was for sure, her happiness was extremely noticable.

Yet, to many, the Duchess' smile didn't seem too genuine.
I thought she did not like the paparazzi and yet, she’s smiling for them now. This press invasion of privacy must be very hard on Duchess https://t.co/71bz8UkjKv

Many found it to be attention seeking.
So it turns out Meghan Markle enjoys the attention of the media when she organises it? Who knew? pic.twitter.com/AuAOxbISwE

Her relationship with the British press received an extra spotlight.
Meghan – smiling for the cameras – remembering how the press works after all… 🤔 https://t.co/cgjZI4eURV

Especially since she didn't seem like she wanted to avoid the cameras this time.

In fact, she was looking right at them.
I’d believe that the photos of Meghan And Archie were intrusive pap shots if it wasn’t for the fact she’s eyes down the lens smiling at them!!! #MeghanMarkle #meghanandarchie #meghanandharry

If anything, the cameras in Canada seem more intrusive than the ones in the UK.
This is only going to get worse… honestly don't think #MeghanMarkle has a clue about whats about to hit her paparazzi wise… by all standards UK paps are tame https://t.co/VC9XGH4UUU

Some even compared photos of the Duchess to the late Princess Diana and her relationship with the press.

Some argued that maybe the Duchess didn't really want a private life after all?
I was under the impression that #MeghanMarkle wanted a private life. Smiling for the cameras… Oops… My bad… They aren't British cameras… https://t.co/a9cBcYxc19

After the paparazzi photos made their way online, the couple quickly announced that they were threatening to sue.

This news alone only reignited some of the anger users were feeling upon viewing the photos in the first place.
The Sussexes sent out a legal letter about those paparazzi photos in Canada of her walking the dogs. This is ludicrous! They are about to cash in, they are the most famous couple in the world. It’s on a public pavement!

Especially since one user claimed that the they were taken in a public park.
Hilarious really: complain about the British press, run away to Canada, and then whip up a bit more publicity by threatening legal action over perfectly lovely Canada paparazzi shots of yourself walking your dogs in… Shock! Horror! A public park! https://t.co/w2F1N15tBg 🤦🏻♀️

Here's hoping the couple's move to Canada winds up making their life easier as they intended.
