We Regret To Inform You That Chuck E. Cheese Has Been Lying To You
While our televisions keep reminding us that we are living in unprecedented and difficult times, Twitter is busy providing us with investigative journalism so jaw-dropping that we can be distracted for days. The United States received another blow yesterday after Twitter user Superkick Paulty (@paulbensonsucks) revealed that Chuck E. Cheese has been using the name Pasqually's Pizza & Wings on Grubhub to sell its food. This immediately sent the chain restaurant to trend, with many users questioning how a rat they've grown to trust throughout the years, could openly lie to the public, especially during a pandemic.
So who is Pasqually, you ask? It turns out Pasqually P. Pieplate is not only an Italian chef, but also the drummer in Munch's Make-Believe Band. Eventually, a spokesperson from Chuck E. Cheese released a statement confirming that Pasquallay's Pizza & Wings has always been affiliated with their chain, and currently shares kitchen space with the rat-themed restaurant. After this additional information was released on Twitter, users couldn't stop posting jokes and memes. To think this all could have been prevented if Chuck had learned how to cook like Remy from Ratatouille.
The tweet that started it all.
Yesterday I found out that Chuck E Cheese realized people didn't want to order takeout from Chuck E Cheese so they changed their info in Grubhub apps to Pasquales Pizza and tricked a bunch of people into ordering Chuck E Cheese (Pasquale is one of the characters in the rat band)

Sadly, they picked the human character so your fake pizza is not being prepared by, like, the dinosaur with the side eyehttps://t.co/cgzM3SVv34

It appears Pasqually has gone through many different makeovers.
I mean have you seen his first design pic.twitter.com/wSq1R5azbV

The story alone will allow us to survive this whole thing.
Chuck E Cheese is selling their food as “Pasqually’s Pizza” on food apps because no one wants to order Chuck E. Cheese pizza for delivery and I think this is nominated as the funniest part of this pandemic

It looks like Chuck E. Cheese isn't the only establishment guilty of doing this.
Applebees did this in my area. They listed themselves as “Neighborhood Wings”

We might need therapy after this.

Perhaps spelling it differently would have helped.
wow "Pasquallys" makes it so much more ridiculous than Pasquales

Regardless of the negative energy thrown Chuck's way, several users did step in to provide this heartwarming story.
this is amazing and I love them for it. Ever since I learned how Chuck was an orphan who never had a birthday party I have loved that place. I hope they sell a ton of pizza and wings.

I saw on Twitter this morning that Chuck E. Cheese had a backstory… I like don’t even know what to say pic.twitter.com/K7QAqpgmzK

It appears the chain restaurant did its due diligence, while the government did not.
They were emailing me in February about corona precautions. Well before DHHS.

Regardless of where you side after reading this, this fact still remains true.
If you ate Chuck E. Cheese pizza as a kid you are immune to coronavirus
