Rita Wilson Raps Like A Pro In Quarantine
It was only twelve days ago that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were diagnosed with Covid-19, bringing into sharp relief for many just how widespread the Coronavirus outbreak would become.
The pair have shown mild symptoms and have been in quarantine since their diagnosis was announced, and like the rest of the world, have apparently taken to silly ways to pass the time. Yesterday, Wilson posted a video of herself nearly-flawlessly rapping along to Naughty by Nature's "Hip Hop Hooray."
As far as celebrity-quarantine videos go, Wilson's performance is surely better than the tuneless amalgam of celebrities wheezing through John Lennon's "Imagine". She, somehow miraculously, does the song justice by playing her performance straight and avoiding the "grandma rapping" joke cliché popularized by Adam Sandler movies.
Viewers were stunned at Wilson's adept take on the classic track.

Wilson may be a rare celebrity who isn't tripping over his or herself making Coronavirus content, but she isn't alone. Patrick Stewart has recently taken to reading Shakespearean sonnets on his social channels, and they're a tonic in this trying time.
