The beginnings of Bomar as a meme occured in August of 2010 on the uStream of Jason "LordKaT" Pullara, who is also known for his series on Thatguywiththeglasses.com, called Until We Win. The meme started off as a joke about how, in a game of Madden 2011, Rhett Bomar managed to do better than Eli Manning, resulting in him jokingly predicting that Rhett Bomar would lead the Giants to, and help them win, the Superbowl. It was then joked that, when asked about the team's win in an interview, he would reply "Bomar play good football! Bomar win Superbowl!" This would later go from a one-off joke to a running gag on his stream, and later in his videos, with a scene in Until We Win: Dune II showing a man, acting as Rhett Bomar, saying "Bomar smart at computer games", and repeatedly walking into a nearby wall. LordKaT has also created a fantasy football league, where, before he was dropped altogether, there was a rule where all trades where Rhett Bomar was offered had to be accepted, he had to be traded at least once a week, and that he could not be traded back to whoever offered him in the previous trade.
