This is a reaction meme that is executed by finding something that is either cringey, stupid, usless, or just makes you not want to live any more, and putting it behind the image of a child in a sonic the hedge hog costume. It can be used in many different scenarios.

Origin

The original meme was just a screen shot from a short film called "hedge hog" which is about loneliness, suicide, and "the horrors of youth". The creator found a post by the twitter account "ShitPostBot5000" as well as from the ShitPostBot5000 website. The background was cut out, and an image that was cringey was placed behind it. Originally just a meme to show among his friends, he decided to see if he could make it a real meme. Posting it to 4chan, twitter, reddit, and here.

Goals

The reason of the creation behind this was a want for a good quality meme that isn't overused, not even necessarily super popular, just is used by others. Wanting a meme that can be used in a wholesome way, or a offensive way. Not wanting it to make one laugh to the point in which they cry, but wanting it to be funny. The point is it doesnt make you laugh per say, but it was funny and made you want to show others/ make your own. With the creator posting blank templates and sending them to friends to make their own creations, all though non of those were posted.
