Western analyst on the current UA army
![Will Schryver @imetatronink Sep 7 Every time previously, he has been referring (as have I) to the original, professionally trained, well-armed, and still mobile Ukrainian army. That army was destroyed. The Ukrainian army of September 2022 bears no resemblance to that earlier army. It will be destroyed faster. Will Schryver @imetatronink - 13h Everything I wrote about in this blog post is now taking place in real time -- again -- near Kharkov. The advance has been blunted; reserves called up; salient is being savaged by massed artillery and air strikes. Fighting will continue for a while, but the outcome is certain. Will Schryver @imetatronink 11h Major "fog of war" right now. Conflicting reports from multiple sources -- even the same sources going back and forth with conflicting claims. Will take a day or so to sort out what is really happening. I remain convinced the AFU lacks the wherewithal to follow up this advance. 25 17 23 #Escalation 218 ↑ Will Schryver @imetatronink. 9h Increasing evidence of LOTS of foreign troops (US, UK, Swedes) involved in the ongoing Kharkov / Izyum counter-attack. This would explain their initial successes. But it also *significantly* raises the stakes for this battle. Will Schryver @imetatronink 16h Confirmation now from Ukrainian leadership that the "counter-offensive" near Kherson has been suspended indefinitely. Will Schryver @imetatronink - 15h The offensive near Kharkov has lost steam. AFU commanders urging Zelensky to suspend that offensive as well. Russian forces in Balakleya held out; reserves have been brought up; AFU forces savaged by artillery and airstrikes. This is the beginning of the end. 38 119 25 480 Will Schryver @imetatronink - 12h New reports streaming in from residents of Balakleya that there are no Ukrainian troops in the city. Flag raised over administration building was done by unknown locals. The fight is for the road networks around the city. I smell a big trap being laid for AFU. Time will tell... C 244 46 ↑ ↑ Will S chryver @imetatronink. 9h American M-270 MLRS rolling through Balakleya. Likelly being operated by US "advisors.". ***](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/436/367/cf8.png)

Such a confident bear!
![Victor Orban's government-mandated textbook explaining to Hungarian eighth-graders the "unbiased" version of the conflict:
“The majority of the country’s population are Ukrainians, but there is a significant percentage of Russians living in the country’s Eastern territories. In the Crimean peninsula, for example, they constitute a majority. The two East Slavic languages (Russian and Ukrainian) are similar. In the parts of the country where Russian nationals live, a fifth of the population speaks a mixed Russian-Ukrainian language. In spite of this, there are frequent conflicts between the two ethnic groups, and their opposition has resulted in an armed conflict for the Crimean peninsula (4.2).”

Professional Army too Volksgrenadiers in six months

Ok, ok. They're not that bad, but we are definitely starting to head in that direction. Training is definitely going to be an issue due to a lack of training staff due to them being sent to the front to fill in experience and officer gaps.
And although it would be very funny, the photos of the SU-100 are from a refurbishment program for parade vehicles in 2018. They're not being used in combat...yet.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/434/641/647.png)

Pesky Pisky
![Context from an Ukrainian on Pisky:
"Note that before 2014 it was essentially a suburb of Donetsk with couple thousand people living there, however since it was essentially on the frontline for the last eight years pretty much everyone left. It's not exactly some tiny village in the middle of nowhere, but a small mostly abandoned town that almost certainly have fortified to hell during aforementioned eight years by AFU. So it's both strategically important and difficult to take, though making fun of Russians for "capturing" it 8 times in two month is still perfectly viable."

2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine
This Lichtenstein-North Korea Proxy War Be Pretty Wack Yo!
![Although I personally find it hard to believe that Russia, out of all nations, is running low on Soviet artillery shells, but that's the most recent rumour coming from US intelligence agencies and they've been pretty spot-on so far.
I can't see how, as even despite all of the heavy shelling, going by Russian or Western sources, they can't have exceeded firing much more than a million, perhaps two million, shells tops. That's sounds like a lot, but for attritional trench warfare it really isn't. Heck, a million shells were fired before most large offensives in WW1 from 1916 onwards.
So the Russians are simply buying from them to keep up a stable supply as demand eats into reserves and production, or Private Conscriptovych has been a very naughty boy indeed and has somehow rendered a surplus of millions upon millions of shells unusable.
Either way, it has given us this rather lovely comment from the Ukranian Ministry of Defence.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/434/606/560.jpg)

Fact: The Ukraine is running out of manpower, having genocided a large part of their male population by the means of bare handed assaults on fortified positions. Fact: When winter comes and Europeans start feeling the impact of high gas prices the western governments will be forced to limit support to Ukraine (worst case scenario) or a mass revolt by the European people will topple the America-backed puppet NATO governments and make Europeans realize that Russia, with its vast natural resources, is a much better ally than the dying American Empire. Fact: Russia is beating the fully mobilized 2nd largest army in Europe, supplied and trained by the entirety of NATO and EU using a mere -150k expedition force. Fact: Novorossiya will forever remain Russian. Fact: Even if the Ukraine by some ungodly miracle manages to beat back the Russian Armed Forces, nobody will help rebuild it and it will remain a Somalia-tier s------- forever until it eventually gets annexed into Russia again. Fact: When Kiev gets liberated, the vast majority of Ukrainians will stop caring because living under Russia is better than being a western satellite state (average GDP in Ukraine before the war was still lower than the pre-Maidan coup one). Fact: If it ever came to a total war between NATO and Russia, Russia would reach the Oder river in 5 days tops. Western armies are too small and underfunded to compete, and western "men" are too effeminate and weak to mount any real resistance.
