"U.S. always bad" tankies and pro-Putin conservatives being united against helping Ukraine defend itself from Russia's unlawful acts of irredentist violence is yet another example of the horseshoe theory in action, and shows how people with largely opposed worldviews can still be morally bankrupt on the same issue. There is a clear bad guy in this war, and it's Putin, who's basically doing what Hitler did when he illegally annexed territories under the auspices of bringing all German-speaking peoples into the German Reich. If Garrison can't see this, then he is either a moron or a monster… or both.
