About
Girl Singing Moana on Delayed Plane refers to a viral video that gained traction in late May 2025, showing a young white girl singing the song "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney film Moana over the airplane intercom. The plane was reportedly delayed and circling over Orlando for over two hours when the flight crew allowed the girl to sing a song to entertain the passengers on the Delta Airlines flight, some of whom may have been flying into Orlando to go to Disney World.
The video sparked discourse and memes online after it was first posted by TikToker @druziroaming and reposted to Twitter / X, where people debated whether it was necessary or appropriate for the girl to be allowed to sing over the intercom on a packed plane. By early June 2025, people claiming to be the passengers on the flight began posting videos supposedly showing their live reactions to the girl singing.

The TikToker[3] went on to post another video giving more context around the events leading up to the young girl singing on the crew mic, saying that the delays were caused by bad weather in Orlando.
According to @stephtravelstories, the plane was packed with little to no air circulation, and she had her headphones off in case the crew gave any more updates about their delayed plane. She says that she heard the intercom ding, only for the crew to announce that a little girl had offered to sing to entertain the passengers, and that she and other passengers around her appeared visibly confused at the announcement.
The video gathered over 600,000 views and 24,000 likes in four days.

@dylanmcdanger All jokes, I actually love Moana and probably would have given her the white people plane clap if she’d sang on my delayed flight to Orlando lol #orlando ♬ som original – Romeu
