Hashbrown Selfie guy or AkA (Esurance Guy) was a commercial predicting an internet newb tring to be cool by using modern internet slang but confuses hashtag with hashbrown. The commercial it was display on was reuploaded and is now a moderately viewed video on YouTube.
Spread:
Mainly on youtube people made fun of the video segment calling it mainly just a "Stupid Commercial" then a few trolls from 4chan decided to spread it on Facebook group pages and 4chan threads also including 9gag spread.
