History Will Be Made is a series of commercials distributed by the National Hockey League (NHL) to advertise the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The First one debuted on March 20, 2010
Usual Content of a "History Will Be Made" Commercial:
- A clip of a notable event in hockey
- The clip playing backwards
- A piano riff playing in the background
- A "what if" statement
- "History Will Be Made"
It didn't take long for people to make their own unofficial videos and parodies, whereas on March 30, 2010 ,the first parodies arose. This one features Patrik Stefan missing an empty net goal uploaded by Count J26
