Inspector Spacetime is a spoof of the TV Show Doctor Who that was created by the Tv Show Community.

In the 3rd Season opener of the show Community (Biology 101), the character Abed is shown a snippet of the show "Inspector Spacetime" by Britta, to lift him out of a funk. "Inspector Spacetime" was a British Sci-Fi show that had been running since 1962. Essentially a spoof of the TV Show Doctor Who, it depicts the inspector as a man in a bowler hat with a brown trenchcoat, assisted by a British Police officer, who use a red telephone box to transport around space and time. When they emerge from the box in the episode shown, they are attacked by Blogons (which are spoofs of Daleks) shouting "E-RAD-I-CATE!". Abed is intrigued and says, "This is one of the best show's I've ever seen."

Evidently this spawned a great deal of the Community and general geek fanbase to create Images, T-Shirts, and webpages dedicated to this small snippet of parody.

A Tv Tropes page has been created for the fake show, "Sprock" (or "Space Master Rock") bands were created to showcase music that would've been heard on the show, and a Tumblr page as well as a FaceBook Fan page was created for "Inspector Spacetime".

The spoof was initially covered at blogsite io9.com, and then in another article denoting the meme style status it achieved shortly thereafter.
