This is a very particular poster. For anyone who does not know, Italy annexed a part of Austria after the first World War. It was called South Tyrol (it's pronounced in another way in German), but now we call it Trentino Alto Adige. Ever since then, the majority of the population who has Austro-German descent hasn't been happy to be now under Italian government, although their own "kin" in Austria doesn't consider them Austrian either. As it goes, the eternally seething Austrian talks big, yet never left that Italian region, even though we've earned it with the blood and the effort of millions of our soldiers I'm saying all of this, because people don't seem to be taking me seriously when I say that this is a banter that has been going on for centuries, possibly even millennias. Through paintings, manifestos, movements, propaganda, posters, murals... The poster I used for this meme is, quite ironically, anti-Italian propaganda. You can find the original quote easily by looking on Google Images "sudtyrol propaganda". Usually, in propaganda posters, the enemy is portrayed in silly, ugly, evil or stereotypical ways, however it backfired, making the Italian looking like an absolute badass while stepping over the German/Austrian As of now, that region is very wealthy, and over the course of the decades, the Italian diaspora became a big part of the region. We annexed it almost exactly 100 years ago. Needless to say that in the following generations, those minor ethnic resentments will be null. And yet, there still are, deep down, the Mediterranean took a bite out of the Nordic territory and kept it for himself. Something those old Nordicists still cannot accept

Eternal Anglo Punch (Mosley Version)

This probably should go in the "Welcome To The Family, Son" entry (which was made by me, of all people), but I think it's more appropriate here because there are the Nordic and Mediterranean punches in this entry too, and since this is an edit based on the Canadian artist who did draw these in the first place. The Anglo is part of the "Nordic" group, but the memes about him are very particular. I'll make an entry about him in these days, but for now, this is it. I had to edit the eye looking on the side, while also drawing the body and coloring the fist. The face is essentially the only thing I didn't have to touch because it was already perfect the way it was.

Drawing Gru was pretty fun, ironically it was his scarf that gave me most of the troubles. If you're wondering why the Minions aren't looking sideways, it's done on purpose to not make them on the same plane of existence as the Shrek/Gru posters And also revealing the Eternal Boomer, enemy of Meme Culture... This is basically my way to an "Ok Boomer" meme

Here's two more types of posters (that go by flag), the infamous Aussie shitposters and the Eternal Leaf. The side looking Aussie already existed, so I had to barely edit him, while instead I had to draw the Canadian one myself. Basing on the meme image of Canadian posters !https://i.4pcdn.org/pol/1491290643235.png! !https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/564/710/7d3.png! Despite my best attempts in trying to make him look as silly as possible, I feel like the Leafposter looks kind of cool... These posters are mostly mocked or memed on the boards /bant/ /pol/ and /int/ which I suppose it's basically all the boards that allow you to see the users' flags. The Canadian flag in itself is a meme, often considered a Honorary Memeflag on /pol/ On my personal experiences, all the Aussies that I've seen, are indeed shitposters. Their reputation is legit. There are a lot of Canadians users, I've seen good and bad ones. Actually smart and clever, even friendly Canucks.... however the vast majority deserve the jokes and the memes they get.. lol Friendly reminder that this meme has been made by the Eternal Italian

I decided to draw some common 4chan poster types in Nordic/Mediterranean style. The only one I did not make myself was the Pepe poster. It'll make for some interesting "I have your back and you have mine" type of memes, as well as some Nordic Gamer memes that do use this type of format and style of drawing In all honesty, the most fun to draw was Shrek, while instead the most difficult one was the CIA guy. Remember that if you want a format/character/face/race in particular, you can ask me, since I've been making a lot of these I also plan on making more because there are several types of 4chan posters I didn't have the time to include

The Med BVLL Takes What He Wants

It's how I decided to name my piece of art, depicting a (fairly accurate), conquest of Gallia by the Roman soldiers. Unlike the Anglos, it was a usual Roman custom to assimilate and intermarry with the tribes they conquered. In the past, Gauls were very pale, had blonde hair, blue eyes, grew their hair long, and often charged bare-chested in battle. The Greek historian Diodorius described them pretty well. So you might wanna look that up. The Greeks used to call the Gauls "milkies" for how pale they were. It is pretty obvious that nowadays it isn't the same as back then I based this meme-drawing on this one. !http://i.4pcdn.org/pol/1518600786369.png! Which, I suppose is a Mongolian soldier, or something... I had to substitute the castle on fire with a mud hut, because that's as far as the Gauls and Germanics got in architecture, lol I also added a dead, mutilated Gaul and another Roman soldier looking at his corpse just to make it more unique. I made sure that my watermark was on the same color and nearby the shadow of the horse so that it doesn't bother too much with the whole meme. I think this shitposts of mine about Nordic vs Mediterranean have too much effort behind, but I do like how they turn out to be, so I have fun making them. And if you think it's not fair for an Italian to drop these memes on the French, you might wanna look at a painting named "Brennus and His Share of Spoils" and in which context that is. I'm only doing my part in this art/meme war going on for centuries 😊

The Estonian army then joined Nazi Germany, but whilst the campaign, Estonia changed side yet again by allying themselves with the British, and being part of a small sea force in the area. Some Estonians even joined the Finnish army Overall, Estonia isn't a country you want to be allied with. Not even we Italians change sides twice in the same war

This is what can be defined as a high effort shitpost. I spent a long time editing and making from scratch several templates so that they could represent the faces of WW2 soldiers in a Nordic/Mediterranean style, thus the face looking majestically on the side. I already had made the Finnish one in one of my previous memes. The only one that did not need any edit, was the Jew, which I found simply browsing around. These faces can serve as templates for the "I have your back and you have mine" memes, which I'll most likely start making in the near future.
