PookiePOWER.com is an absurdist comedy website that mocks the self-help / success / do-it-yourself industry (and, at times, the seduction community). It is a blatant (sometimes brilliant) parody of a multi – billion dollar business model that is unregulated by the government. In other words, self-proclaimed "self-help guru's" can say or do anything, and it is within their rights to do so, because of freedom of speech. While there is some good content out there, most success books promise the world (millions in stock, real estate, or your own business venture), but don't offer much of a return on investment. The self-help industry is an ongoing "educational" process that never produces "real" results. Critics of this industry have come to the conclusion that "The only way to benefit from a self-help book is to write one" (Christopher Buckley, Wikipedia). Pookie Reindeer has found another way – to mock one.

This concept originated in Houston, and has spread through the Texas college system. The site statistics of PookiePOWER.com are unknown, however a flier was found in a U of H bathroom stall that has already created significant internet buzz. A student took a pic with his camera phone and sent it to classmates at Texas A&M. It got so much attention that it was featured in TexAgs.com, the A&M online newsletter. The same flier has popped up on funny or die .com, gotten hundreds of hits and is currently ranked 91% funny. It was also described as the "POWERTHIRST of Get Rich Quick / Chicks / Success Programs" by SubGothius at reddit.com
