Good Burger 2 is the sequel to the 90s Nostalgia film Good Burger starring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell reprising their roles as Dexter and Ed from the first film. The film, which shows the two characters working at the eponymous restaurant Good Burger, is releasing on Paramount Plus in the fall of 2023.

History

On March 18th, 2023, Kenan and Kel were on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon when they announced that, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Good Burger film, they could announce that a sequel was in production and slated to release later in the year, much to the surprise and excited cheering of the audience. That part of the broadcast was uploaded to the Tonight Show YouTube channel^[1] where it received over 600,000 views in four months (shown below).

Online Presence

On August 21st, 2023, the official Paramount Plus^[2] YouTube channel uploaded the first teaser trailer for the film, showcasing Kel's character Ed hitting Kenan with a car dressed up like a hamburger, the two working at a new Good Burger reciting the infamous greeting, and playing the I'm A Dude song from the first film (shown below).

In recognition of the teaser trailer releasing, the X user @ijayt205^[3] uploaded part of the song Watch Me Do My Thing by the group immature, which features Kel Mitchell in his Good Burger outfit for the music video, captioning it as being uploaded in honor of Good Burger 2 (shown below).
