This image is from April 7, a month after the article for the subject was moved from draft to mainspace on March 6, 2024. Sweet Baby's notability from the start was its focus as a pro-DEI progressive narration consultant working on properly constructed representation, but also as a target on Kiwi Farms and conspiracy theorists that led to the whole "GamerGate 2" term. There were briefly some edit conflicts on the article, but thankfully it received extended protection for at least a year the moment GamerGate comparisons gained traction. As for the discussions it immediately became a mess. Floods of unregistered users and one-purpose accounts accused the article (mostly unchanged in basic ideas from the start) of being one-sided, providing primary, independent sources from X and YouTube, along with unreliable sources such as game8.co and That Park Place. In the end hardly anything supporting the accusations was proven according to Wikipedia's sourcing standards, and publications from _Game Developer_ to _The Guardian_ confirmed the accusations as conspiracy. A reliable right-wing source has yet to be available, and the article is appropriately scrutinized, especially since Wikipedia's gaming editors are among the most professional. To answer the obvious, yes I was involved, down to the same username. I did some minor stuff and discussed the section title that's now the area when you search "GamerGate 2", along with finding a Media Matters for America (MMfA) source mentioned by someone else. I deliberately strayed from the more complicated areas however, since this isn't something I'm experienced in and would rather not speak for myself. I am posting this screenshot for history and as a response (if any) to the radicalization of Know Your Meme's gaming community after a decade. I likely won't get involved with subsequent comments since none of the potential discourse would be healthy for me. *This is not an invitation to the talk page.* There hasn't been anything already said, what with the FAQ and all. Combined with the "2023–2024 video game industry layoffs":https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023%E2%80%932024_video_game_industry_layoffs this is a horrible year to be a gamer. I'm taking a solid guess that the overwhelming majority of the humans here are white... Of course, there's nothing wrong with that in essence, but look at it this way... Here in this group, and people who support this group (whether they know it exists or not) - are extremely overwhelmingly white males who have a patriarchal and racist view of the world (ideology).... Some of you may not be "nazis", some of you may hate "nazis" (but nonetheless at least unconsciously follow an outdated patriarchal view of the world), some of you may hate women. some of you may respect women [respect in the narrow patriarchal sense]. ETC ETC. I can provide an infinite number of examples that will waste both of our times and not really get anywhere. Here's the main point I've been building up to... We live in 2024, the times have changed. This is no longer 1999, where gaming was full of overweight smelly white nerds who couldn't get a girlfriend. Who upon seeing the changing demographics in their countries - lashed out consciously and unconsciously throughout their favorite medium of escapism from reality. (video games)... As said, it's 2024. Gaming and the internet in general is no longer niche. Developers no longer have to use outdated racist and sexist modems to appeal to the target demographic of the 1999 crowd... Let me say it again in a different way. GAMING IS NO LONGER JUST FOR YOU, THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD THAT WANT TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES AND ENJOY OTHER SUCH SOURCES OF ENTERTAINMENT... If you do not want to buy a game because it has a BIPOC or women main character, that's OK. It's your money - do what you want with it, this is a free country, but maybe use some empathy and think that you are now a minority in this sphere. There are millions upon millions of women and BIPOC people who want to buy video games, and who want to be represented. They want different stories that they can relate to... The "white man/men killing people and taking advantage of women" games are a long dead trope that only developers on their last limbs do as market research has shown white males of a patriarchal nature are devoutly fanatical and will quickly shell out larges amounts of money if a game appeals to their "base desires"... Anyways. I've said what I wanted to say, I've let it out. I might reply to comments that provide genuine points of interest and aren't "angry white caveman ego grunting". If you somehow manage to track my name or whatever down. I don't regret writing this, and even if this post is deleted, my views are the same. I hope in these writings - some glimmer of hope can come upon you downtrodden middle-aged white men.

If you can brave the lack of proofreading, it's one of the funniest things you'll ever read. What do you plan to do on the website? Basically, the same that I already do on the Steam curator page: listing the games that has DEI implemented but this time around coming from many others DEI consultancy companies too while also promoting good (mainly Indie) games that respect us gamers by not trying to reeducate us, virtue signaling and influence the way we see the world, these will be referred to as "DEIFree" games, DEIF. I intend to expand the DEID to talk about movies, series, animes and other forms of media in the future too. A part of this supposed conspiracy is the idea that videos revealing the TRUTH are being demonitized by big youtube. Its not true. This video had limited monetization because it was a 2 hour long livestream with swearing in it, so the creator disputed it and they got monetization back, no conspiracy
