Drake has reportedly slid into the DMs of a random woman in order to do a little trolling of her husband, who wrote a mean comment about him on Instagram earlier this week.

Aubrey Drake Graham, the Canadian rapper and former star of Degrassi (known on Instagram as @champagnepapi), posted about how he would support his young son if he ever won anything. Ceddy Bo, a mildly notable troll, then replied that Drake’s son’s win would probably be ghostwritten the way that some of Drake’s world-famous lyrics purportedly are. Drake then informed Ceddy Bo that he had slid into his wife’s DMs as retaliation.

Users across social media platforms like Twitter seized on the news to imagine how they might react if Drake DM’d them or their significant other.

Some took the time to wonder about how Ceddy Bo himself must feel after his wife received the Drake DM.

A Reddit post of the wife allegedly venting about the Drake DM and the impact it had on her relationship also made the rounds, with many commenting that it proved the effectiveness of Drake’s clapback.

The world didn’t have to wait long to find out how the husband would react, however, because within hours he posted extensively on Instagram about the incident. He bragged about an interview request from TMZ, a sudden jump in his follower count and even started selling T-shirts with the Drake DM printed across the front. He also heavily promoted a party in Falls Church, Virginia commemorating the DM.

Some users criticized this behavior, finding it opportunistic and calling the man a “loser,” while others admired his hustle.

Regardless of how the party or T-shirt sales pan out, Drake has once again proved himself to be a certain type of individual.
