Internet Appears To Side With Kanye West Over Kim Kardashian In Divorce Thanks To 'Akira' Manga Mention

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's divorce is, like a lot of divorces, not as simple and clean as they had likely hoped.
This became increasingly obvious as Kanye has since rapped lyrics on a recent song in which he more or less threatened Pete Davidson, and unfortunately, it started to reach their children. The true extent to how much drama has unfolded came to light when Kanye West commented on his Instagram explaining the situation in more detail. At the crux of everything, he was being accused of being on drugs, stealing and putting a hit out on Kim herself.
Ye is just tryna read some Akira, play with his kids and be the greatest creator of All-Time. They don’t wanna give this man peace.

The robbery claim comes from Kanye taking back his Akira graphic novels. Akira, being the 1982 manga series that was later turned into the "best anime movie of all time" (according to Mr. West), has always been a personal favorite of his, as he has over a decade of online verification and a music videos to back his absolute love for the series.
This seemingly struck a chord with thousands online, as Akira is consistently touted as one of the best anime adaptations ever done, with fans singing its praises four decades later. Because the Akira manga is one of the focal points of Kanye's current grief, and Kim supposedly giving him trouble because of it, many online have shifted to defending Kanye, if only because of their shared love for the series.
