Keemstar Announces His Retirement
Internet provocateur Keemstar, best known for his "Drama Alert" series which was known to exacerbate and perhaps misrepresent various controversies between internet personalities, has announced his retirement today after nearly fourteen years on YouTube.

This is not the first time Keemstar has announced his "retirement" on social media. Within the course of a year between 2018 and 2019, he announced his retirement three separate times.

In his most recent retirement announcement, Keemstar promised a "Drama Alert" episode where he would discuss the future of the series as well as his reasons for retiring and his future plans.
"Some of you will be happy to see my ass go," said Keemstar in his video. Indeed, many on social media celebrated the imminent retirement of Keemstar, who has often attracted criticism for his caustic attitude towards significant tragedies in the online space.

Viewers will likely have to wait for the Drama Alert episode—and weeks without Keemstar videos—to know if this retirement announcement is a sincere one from Keemstar.
