Leaked audio that allegedly features alt-right founder Richard Spencer going on a racist rant was released yesterday evening. The clips were reportedly recorded shortly after Unite The Right rally, a white supremacist gathering in Charlottesville, Virginia that left one protester dead.

The clip was posted by far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopolous on his YouTube channel yesterday evening. Yiannaopoulos claims that the audio was taken shortly after the murder of Heather Heyer, the Charlottesville counterprotester who was killed at the rally after a white supremacist deliberately drove through a crowd of people. According to Yiannopolous, the tape features Spencer using several anti-semitic and racist slurs against African Americans.

"My ancestors fucking enslaved those little pieces of fucking shit," screams Richard Spencer.

"We are coming back here like a hundred fucking times. I am so mad. I am so fucking mad at these fucking people. They don’t do this to fucking me. We’re going to ritualistically humiliate them. I am coming back here every fucking weekend if I have to. Like this is never over! I win! They fucking lose!"

Richard Spencer rose to prominence following the election of U.S. President Donald Trump. News outlets published a number of controversial profiles on Spencer, painting him as the stylish founder of a new white nationalist movement.

During a series of protests at the inauguration of President Trump, a video of Spencer being punched in the face went viral. The video sparked an online conversation regarding the ethics of punching a nazi as well as a series of remix videos.

While many media critics and viewers decried his appearances in the Washington Post and on CNN, Spencer continued to be a welcome guest. Following the release of the video, many online are expressing frustration with those outlets for promoting him in the first place.

Yiannopolous has been the subject of numerous controversies over the last five years. In 2016, he was banned from Twitter for continued harassment against comedian Leslie Jones. The following year, he was fired from Brietbart after a conversation in which he seemingly defended pederasty went viral. The clip also cost him a book deal with Simon & Schuster.

Last year, Spencer accused of spousal abuse by his estranged wife Nina Kouprianova in their divorce proceedings.
