Olivia Rodrigo Goes To Washington

The Biden administration has been very creative in its push to get American's vaccinated against Covid-19, and yesterday, their efforts brought budding pop star Olivia Rodrigo to the White House.

"I am beyond honored and humbled to be here today to help spread the message about the importance of youth vaccination," Rodrigo said in a press conference. "I’m in awe of the work President Biden and Dr. Fauci have done and was happy to help lend my support to this important initiative." (Disappointingly, Rodrigo did not say she thinks vaccines are "good 4 u," even though it was right there, but whatever.)

As Rodrigo's appearance at the White House was a little bit surreal, it proved fodder for Twitter users who couldn't help but make some jokes about how it seemed like the premise of a mid-2000s teen romcom.

Though one can question how effective Rodrigo will be in the overall vaccination push, there's no doubt that she brought eyeballs to the effort. The President's post with Rodrigo was one of yesterday's top 15 on Facebook.
