Blur's 1994 Britpop hit single "Parklife" has made a rather unexpected comeback following yesterday's viral takeoff of a mocking comparison between Russell Brand's fondness for philosophical ramblings and the famous spoken verses originally featured in the song.

In March 2007, Tim O'Reilly and a group of other prominent figures in the blogosphere drafted a proposal for a Blogger's Code of Conduct following the revelation of misogynistic cyberbullying and trolling against programmer and blogger Kathy Sierra. Now that we're back on the topic of mutual respect and ethics in the wake of #GamerGate, is "civility on the web" something that could be worth revisiting? Discuss.

Earlier in August, after a decade-long journey, European Space Agency's Rosetta & Philae finally reached their destination Comet 67P, orbiting the space rock for many weeks to study its geography. And what is more to come, in less than a week from now, Rosetta's three-legged ground rover will make a historic landing on the surface.
