Meanwhile, Reddit announced they would be blacking out the entire site on January 18th in protest of the Stop Online Piracy and Protect IP acts.

According to the comprehensive report recently released by the U.S. audience research firm Nielsen, TV still reigns as the dominant medium of media consumption with over 288 million viewers, in comparison to 143 million people that are now watching videos on the Internet.
