Wait, so I'm able to get myself a Genesect without having to trudge through random trade requests where people don't even have Genesect even though I CLEARLY state on my message that I want to trade my shiny Jirachi for a Genesect?
(Oh, and something about being able to get the other Mythical Pokemon)

From Serebii.net:

"It has been announced that the Mythical Pokémon are all to receive special distributions for the Pokémon games starting in February 2016. These are Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect. We'll bring full details on these as they come. Mew will be distributed from February 1st through February 24th at Gamespot, unknown elsewhere while Celebi will run from March 1st through March 24th on the Nintendo Network, Jirachi in April on the Nintendo Network, Darkrai in May at Gamestop, Manaphy in June via Nintendo Network, Shaymin in July via Nintendo Network, Arceus in August via Gamestop, Victini in September via Nintendo Network, Keldeo in October via Nintendo Network, Genesect in November at Gamespot in the US, unknown elsewhere and Meloetta in December via Nintendo Network"

Oh yeah, and there were some other announcement, like the films getting digitally remastered, trading cards, new 3DS cover, etc., but they're not quite as important as this.
