It's true though, the amount of "another Mary Sue" and "fucking SJW propaganda" comments is kind of alarming. Especially considering that the movie isn't even out yet and so far we know next to nothing about its characters. It's like just the very fact that the lead character happens to be female angers some people

It's weird, comparing the response to this trailer to the response to the Ghostbusters trailer.

The Ghostbusters trailer got similar comments, but since it looked pretty shitty no one cared.

This trailer looks great, and there are STILL those kind of comments. I know youtube comments aren't exactly a bastion of culture, but it kind of drives home just how many of these idiots there are.
