It's a bit more coplicated than that, ゴゴゴゴゴゴ has no other meaning besides the repeated go sound, it is supposed to create a menacing atmosphere, therefore ゴゴゴゴゴゴ is always translated as MENACING. Also ゴゴゴゴゴゴ originally was ゴロゴロゴロ (gorogorogoro) which was a sound of rumbling often associated with a menacing atmosphere but over the time just shortened down to ゴゴゴゴゴゴ.
