I actually like Battleborn and I am completely aware that it isn't even comparable to Overwatch due to its completely different gameplay and design. If anything, it's closest to (Super) Monday Night Combat, and its story/co-op mode (and loot system), characters, and writing are all, appropriately, akin to Borderlands, being a Gearbox game.
(pls no downvotes, it was just a prank, bro)
And, to be honest… Battleborn wins as far as characters and writing go, hands down. They're so goddamn hilarious, it's perfect. All of 'em. Even the characters that are only in the story missions – it's all 200.00% Borderlands.
