Is it really illegal to grow your own food in New Zealand? So, there's this big Anti-Monsanto March that's about to happen in 2 days. And people here are being told all sorts of information, and basically are being bullied with fear to attend the march. One of the "facts" that are being told is that it is illegal to have your own garden in NZ and grow food for personal use. Now, l've found some info about it, but it's from 2011 and I have the impression that at the time the law prohibiting growing veggies was still in making. Can someone please tell me what is the situation in NZ now? Is it really THAT bad? Thanks.
