There's no reason to make a genderbend of a character if you're just going to remove all the interesting traits from them and just pick a random pinup model and throw an iconic character's outfit on them. Similarly, there's little reason to watch generic ecchi anime when you could just watch actual hentai or quality television. If someone's going to make an R63, they should make an actual effort to translate a character's personality and appearance into the opposite gender, rather than just churning out the generic "big tits but with Mario's hat so it's totally Mario". That's not the law or anything, I don't have that kind of power, sadly, but I'm still going to complain about it. I have a right to let my voice be heard as much as people have a right to create shitty genderbends. I just wish people accepted the responsibility of not making them generic eyecandy a little more.
