Kinda honestly, i thought that the mourning was sincere at first, and then became an ironic joke/meme; on the style of Jet Fuel Can’t Melt Dank Memes or 7-11 Was a Part-Time Job. At least on the places i frequent. In fact, the replies on this very tweet, i’d consider that it’s more or less clear it's a joke. But in a world where memes fade after some weeks, this one particular was an anomaly.

It makes me think me of people mistaking the Navy Seals Copypasta as an actual threat to the well-being of someone.
