I like how the trainer gets taller almost every succeeding generation

I know right? It was so jarring going back to my copy of Alpha Sapphire, and seeing the change from chibi-proportions to realistic proportions.
One thing I have noticed though, is that while some of the older games start with your drawn player character shrinking down to the tiny sprite size… now it's just plain old you.
