<b>What the bloody hell?!?</b> Just looking at this makes me feel both horrified and depressed.
I originally found out about this continuation from a video by the creator of the Lost Silver game, dabr1dg3, who is now known on Youtube as Reidd Maxwell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPY6XwF90fg He claims the author contacted him in regards to additional parts of the story but Reidd doesn't know if he will continue the Lost Silver games because he "has his own opinions about the author". You can watch the video for yourself and see how he feels about the author and what has happened. All this info is to back up the image, which could be seen as a fake. But giving Reidd Maxwell's video shortly after this continuation was posted and the claims that the author finally contacted him regarding the other parts to Lost Silver, this image seems to be the legit continuation. Who knows when part three will be posted and how many more alternate paths this hacked game actually has.
