spitblaze while im on the subject: why do all of the most peddled 'nerd shirts' seem to be mashing two entirely unrelated 'nerd culture' things together. I once saw a Legend of Zelda/Back to the Future shirt. l've seen Harry Potter and Pokemon. Who exactly is going to buy all of these Doctor Who/Portal crossover tees. doktorpeace You reminded me of a cursed shirt my mom bought me a few years ago that's plain black except for this image on it. I don't even like Dr. Who or One Piece nor have l ever expressed interest in them and I have no idea what possessed her to buy this for me. konkeydongcountry i feel like there's gotta be some sort of computer algorithm that spits out 'geek culture' shirt ideas

Pretty sure you hit the nail on the head there. The batshit logic behind some crossovers is often "hey, these two things that are good MUST be twice as good together!" but then they make absolutely no sense together and the result just comes across as terrible.

Par exemple: Shoving Doctor Who and One Piece together is like putting candy floss on a cheeseburger.
