I assume your confusion comes from you knowing that posting KYM images in comments automatically links back to the image page, but you don't know you can link to anywhere with any image. You just treat the image like it's text you want to hyperlink with. Here's what I posted:

So, no, I didn't use any witchcraft where you can somehow edit a KYM image even as you post it. I just linked back to it for context in case someone hadn't seen it before.
