Remember when people did the same for Cloud and Lightning over 6 years ago..? Except people quickly realized that the short answer was 'git gud and learn what videogame graphics' engines are and how they work'..? That solved itself smoothly. That face super-imposing thing was debunked and proven to work with almost any faces even slightly similar enough of any 3D-rendered faces. Hell, it even sometimes work for real faces.

Today, it seems people will complain about "same face" until game developers start adding extra eyes, mouths and probably card anime protagonist haircuts to all their characters, only to be accussed of pandering to Tumblr when they do, so it is a lose-lose situation for them.

This is why game journalists keep calling gamers entitled and elitists, people.
