Fun fact, i actually prepped ferdinand for this, going all in on leveling the fuck out of him, making him a dark knight and giving him some of the best anti-edelgard weaponry out there. I decked this glorious bastard out, had him level 50 and ready to finally, FINALLY kick edelgard's ass and get the proof that he truly was superior, he did all the work, solo'd every single map with ease, one-shotted the fucking death knight. HE. WAS. READY.

so yeah edelgard kicked his ass and shrugged off the ten damage he did like it was a bad hangover. then promptly got killed by dorothea.
edelgard must have a secret "anti ferdinand" skill because all the work i put into making this man's dream a reality amounted to a fart in the wind.
