keller_ma 12 points 9 months ago My dad works as a surgical nurse and my favorite related story of his is that in the recovery room an old woman was in her last few minutes of life. My dad and his coworker went into her room to find her peacefully dying but clearly saying something like, "Oh hello Aunt Ethel, so good to see you. And there's Bill and Henry.... Oh look there's Agatha..." and then she passed. My dad believes she was being greeted by her deceased family members into the afterlife. Whether or not his interpretation is true, I'm choosing to believe it.
