Just recently they told anyone who wanted an option to turn off EXP share to just stuff the mons they aren't training in the Box, thinking people who don't use it only want to train a single Pokemon at a time. Forget about wanting some risk/reward to make sure under-leveled Pokemon get full EXP when handling combat themselves or only half EXP to only have them out for a single turn, the game developer himself apparently forgot how his own gameplay loop works and saying anyone who wants that is playing it incorrectly.

Then, in the same interview, Masuda officially confirmed National Dex will never come back and that players should leave their Pokemon in Home and 'hope they appear in the next game'.
