And after going through all those traumatic experiences where she cries 24/7, how exactly is she suppose to become a carefree adventurer and action girl? Lara is not Batman, she doesn’t need dead parents or sexual assault to become an explorer.

I agree she didn’t have much dialog in earlier games, but being an female Indiana Jones was enough character for me! And instead of giving her more witty lines or something, first they kill her parents and then reboot her as miss PTSD. WHY DOES EVERYTHING NEED TO BE SO F------ SERIOUS!? Just let me have a little escapist fantasy every now and then.
