I played Skyrim before Morrowind and in the 4th Era Morrowind is a mess because I have to kill you, destroying the Heart of Lorkhan which removes Vivec's power so his little ego trip floating prison eventually crashes into the province and causes Red Mountain to erupt, then the Argonians will invade. It's pretty grim. But I have a plan. Stop all this Corprus nonsense, join me and we can destroy Vivec, Almalexia and Sotha Sil, throw Baar Dau at Skyrim wiping out those snow-apes. Then as soon as Uriel Septim is assassinated (I'll explain later) we repel the Daedra using Lorkhan's power and become saviors of Tamriel, they'll make us Émperor and Empress, and we'll then use Akulakhan to curb stomp those stuck up Thalmor!
