I never understood all the Marnie hype. She just doesn't look appealing to me. She looks like an actual chil-oooooh…I think I answered my own question.

I think that's kinda the point. If I recall, Marnie herself doesn't get the hype she has. I think it's done in an ironic way.

Of course, she is a cutie, so there's that.
