It's time like this where I hate the concept of politics itself.

I remember back in the World Cup + Politics debacle, apparently to the international scene we had to have anti-terrorism laws figured out, and then-current government had a really hard time coming up with legislation that would both appease FIFA and whatever overseeing entities might demand, while also not having certain "social movement" organizations to not be immediately classified as terrorist groups.

Many of these resulted in "so it's okay when they do it" caveats. Fuck that noise.

If the USA can call itself the champion of democracy, all bets are off. Don't hate the playa.
