Nintendo - Nintendo of America twitter referencing the famous "nice water" Miiverse user, and the man himself responding

Back when Miiverse was still a thing there was a user (the second person you see in this screencap, MARIO WiiU) who became well known for the fact his posts were almost exclusively just him posting screenshots he took during gameplay where he'd compliment the water in various games. Whoever is in charge of the NoA twitter must have been well aware of this guy who was famous on Miiverse and decided to post this as it's in line with what the user would have posted themselves had Miiverse still been around, plus it also acts as a quick and easy way to make a post about Paper Mario: The Origami King, a new release at the time the twitter post was made.

But yes indeed it actually is some super impressive water, like holy shit I'm not kidding when I say Origami King probably has some of the best looking water in a video game hands down.
