I really don't think this would be a good idea unless she's just a part of a chorus like in Winter Wrap-up or something.
Giving her a solo part would be too overtly fan-service and would only be confusing to people unfamiliar with Derpy's internet popularity.
Instead, have fun with this fan-made Doctor Whoves/Derpy duet of Journey's 'Separate ways' (Amazing song)
