The sad thing is there are actual, valid unheard people among Trump supporters in all of that mess. Manufacturing jobs are vanishing and areas like the rust belt are struggling. The tax increases during the Obama administration weren't popular with everyone either. Trump was one of the few people to directly address the economic problems facing blue color workers by supporting their industries, whether his intentions were pure or not, but they'll continue to be ignored since they still don't have a voice. This is, in my opinion, why he had such support along the rust belt.

Andew Yang and Bernie Sanders were well aware of them, and wanted to address how automation was transforming manufacturing jobs, as well as explore ways to help the affected Americans, each through their own means. But since both were shunned and smeared and or ignored by the DNC to make room for Biden, things probably won't get better for these people.
