There is a lame duck president actively calling for his cronies to invalidate a lawful election that has completely withstood a barrage of baseless legal complaints with hundreds of losses for his side. He has mangled almost every major event his country has undergone. He has actively participated in (attempts, failed or succeeded) act of: sedition of dutifully and lawfully appointed members of the opposing side and even his own when they wouldn't kowtow to his will, collusion with hostile foreign powers, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, fraud, and that's only what he's admitted to on camera.

Yet around 47% of the population voted for him anyways. 30+% have said they would vote for Republican 'no matter what'.

Their minds cannot be changed, no matter how despicable a person he is, because they do not have an opinion, they have a position. Around a third of the country has openly admitted to as much. There comes a point where the generalization is more true than it is false, and they revel in making it so.

More accurately "radicals/extremists" don't care about logical contradictions. Hell, those same contradictions are probably so internalized and justified in their heads at this point that pointing them out only strengthens their delusion.
